Thames Water has awarded an AMP7 contract for the supply, repair, maintainance and upgrade of Flooding Local Improvement Process (FLIP) systems in its operational waste network worth an estimated £7.5 million.

The contract was tendered in two separate Lots. Lot 1 (£2. 296 million) covers new equipment and spares for the systems, including housing, submersible pumps, control heads, motors, cables and circuit boards.
Total contract term will be 8 years initial term is 3 years with an option to extend.
Lot 2 (£4.9 million) covers the repair, maintainance and upgrade of Flooding Local Improvement Process (FLIP) Systems
The initial contract term is for 3 years with options to extend by up to a further 5 years.
The contract for Lot 1 has been awarded to Kent firm Pump Technical Services Ltd and Lot 2 to Middlesex-based company Falco Construction Ltd.
